Training in the printing industry

Problem

In Cameroon, around 80% of books and printed materials come from abroad, as domestic products are generally of very poor quality. This is mainly due to a lack of qualified specialists in the printing industry. This dependence on imports not only affects the local economy, but also makes it difficult for the population to access high-quality educational materials and information.

Goal

Our aim is to set up a training center for printing technology to promote vocational training in Cameroon and develop the printing industry in the country. By organizing a three-year training program for printers, typesetters and typographers, we aim to increase the qualification of skilled workers, improve the quality of domestic print products and reduce dependence on imported materials. This will not only strengthen the local economy, but also improve access to quality educational resources in Cameroon.
