Health centers

Problem

Many people in Cameroon, especially in poorer regions like Bangante and Nkongsamba, lack access to medical care, as there are either no health centers or the fee-based hospitals are unaffordable for them. This lack of access leads to preventable complications, particularly during childbirth, often resulting in fatal consequences, especially for young mothers.

Goal

Avenir Tiers Monde e.V. is committed to improving healthcare for the poorest populations in Cameroon by making medical assistance accessible in the affected regions. The goal is to establish health centers and provide preventive as well as acute medical care to protect the lives of young mothers in particular and ensure better basic healthcare in the long term.
